Where Old Fliers Come to Roost

October 2019

October brings to mind pumpkins, corn mazes and trick-or-treaters.  Located as we are at the end of an unlighted street, we don't see many children seeking candy on Halloween.  Even in the well lit and densely populated part of town, roving bands of pirates, princesses, ghosts and super heroes are disappearing, falling prey to well organized and centralized candy distribution centers.  Under such banners as "Trunk-or-Treat," responsible parents in record time dole out copious quantities of  approved candies to well supervised kids.  The process is so efficient and sterile the kids hardly have to put down their smart phones.  Since I can't pass out any candy on this site, here's something completely different: Just click on the link below for a Halloween song from the dusty archives of Ancient Eagle Press.
